Zmiinyi Island is an island in the Black Sea that belongs to Ukraine and defines its territorial waters. Border guards and scientists live on the island. The task of border guards is to protect state borders from enemy invasion.

On the first day of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, an episode of confrontation between the parties took place on the small rocky Zmiinyi Island, which will later have great symbolic significance for maintaining the morale of the Ukrainian military and will become a significant loss of the enemy.
As you know, there are two sides in any war, and we need to get to know each of them to draw our own conclusions.
